Full sea view versus a sea-view option, balconies, floors and sunsets: the questions to ask before you book.
In this article
Opening the curtains to the sea in the morning is one of those small things that make a hotel stay memorable. But “sea view” does not mean the same thing everywhere.
Full sea view or a sea-view option?
A full sea view means you see the sea directly and widely from the window or balcony. A sea-view option means some rooms of that type face the sea and you need to request one when you book.
Questions to ask
- Is the view from the window or a balcony?
- Do all rooms of this type face the sea, or is it on request?
- Is there a balcony? A small one makes a big difference for morning coffee.
- Do the shared spaces, like a terrace, have a view?
