The Metrobus is one of Istanbul’s fastest ways to get around. It runs in its own lane and links the city from Beylikdüzü in the west to Söğütlüçeşme on the Asian side. The İBB Sosyal Tesisleri stop is about a minute’s walk from Hotel Emirhan Palace.
Where to and how
- Tüyap: 13 stops towards Beylikdüzü, to the last stop, Beylikdüzü Sondurak (TÜYAP). No change.
- Istanbul Expo Center: 6 stops to Yenibosna, then the M1A metro one stop to DTM–İstanbul Fuar Merkezi.
- Sultanahmet: change to the T1 tram at Zeytinburnu.
- Taksim: change to the M2 metro at Mecidiyeköy (Şişli–Mecidiyeköy).
- Asian side: the Metrobus crosses the Bosphorus bridge to Söğütlüçeşme in Kadıköy.
Good to know
- You pay with an Istanbulkart, sold and topped up at machines at the stops.
- Buses get crowded in the morning and evening rush; travel outside those hours if you can.
- On fair days the Tüyap direction is busy in the morning, so set off early.

Guests arriving by car park free of charge. To avoid the hunt for parking in the centre, leave the car at the hotel and ride the Metrobus.

You can, but it is hard in the rush hour. With large suitcases, a taxi or the Havaist bus is easier for the airport.
